Inspired by the rich diversity the British countryside offers, Angela Harding chooses subjects capturing the flora and fauna in our natural world. Angela is fortunate to work from a studio overlooking the beautiful farmland of Rurland. The soft shades of green, grey and blue inturn often give a soft background to her prunts and painings. The wildlife in Angela’s work inhabits not only her soft surroundings but often in an allegorical landscape referncing mid-twentieth century artists whi have influenced her work; Eric Ravilious, David Jones, Winifred Nicholson, among others. Angela completed an MA in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University having earlier studied printmaking at Leicester Polytechnic.
